How Much Does an Auto Equity Loan Cost at Moneytree?
At Moneytree, auto equity loans are repaid in payments over time. Auto equity loan interest is calculated using a Daily Uniform Amortization schedule that applies payments to interest evenly throughout the term so that substantially the same amount of principal is paid down with each payment.
The amount of your payments will vary based on the loan amount, the number of payments and the length of the loan. Using a $500 loan with biweekly payments with a 15-month loan term as an example:
15-Month Loan Term: A $500 loan would have a total repayment of $1,291.00, which includes finance charges of $791.00 and is based upon you agreeing to make 32 payments of $39.13, due every two weeks, and one final payment of $38.84 with an APR (Annual Percentage Rate) of 181.52%.**

What Do I Need in Order to Apply for an Auto Equity Loan at Moneytree?
Applying for an auto equity loan at any Idaho Moneytree branch is fast and simple. Here’s what you’ll need:
- A valid ID and Social Security Number, ITIN, or Alien Registration Number
- Your physical address, phone number and a unique email address
- Proof of income, such as a pay stub or benefits statement
- An unencumbered (i.e. no lienholders) title to a vehicle in an eligible state and if required, all co-owners of the vehicle must be present to sign to acknowledge Moneytree’s security interest (vehicle must be present)

Is Moneytree licensed?
Moneytree, Inc., is licensed by the Idaho Department of Finance. Licensing information is available upon request. Moneytree is registered with the federal government as a Money Services Business (MSB).
How is my loan (or payment) due date determined?
Your loan will be due on the date set forth in the loan agreement. Payment due dates are based on your pay schedule with payments due on each payday throughout the term of the loan.
Can I pay off my loan before it is due?
Yes. Moneytree does not charge a pre-payment penalty if you choose to pay off your loan before the loan due date.
What if I miss a payment or a payment returns?
There is a ten (10) day grace period after the payment due date during which your loan payment may be paid in full at no additional cost. If the loan payment remains unpaid at the end of the grace period you will be charged $10 or 5% of the amount of the outstanding payment, whichever is greater.
