It’s a Sunday, so none of my online money platforms would let me cash my state tax refund check. I tried Wal Mart but they declined it, I’m guessing for the same reason. I tried King Soopers, but the amount was too high so they didn’t even try. I tried a couple random places along the way to Money Tree and they were all dead ends.
But Zitlallit at Money Tree made it happen! I only had my digital ID, which they don’t accept, so she spoke to two references and verified my identity that way. She had to make a couple calls and jump through some hoops, but in the end, I left with my entire refund deposited to my debit card.
