 For the fifth consecutive year Moneytree partnered with St. Luke’s Health Foundation as a sponsor of their annual fundraiser, Kid for a Night. Proceeds from Kid for a Night help provide the funds necessary to ensure the future growth of Children’s Hospital. Last year, funds raised from the event were allocated to St. Luke’s Technology Advancements for Excellence project, which will include equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
For over 16 years, patrons of Kid for a Night have raised more than $3.5 million to benefit children treated at St. Luke’s. Nearly every aspect of the Children’s Hospital has been impacted by the donations raised at this annual fundraiser. Recent projects include a Family Resource Room to provide support and education to patient families by providing access to online information, an electronic medical records system, new pediatric intensive care beds for critically ill children, a dedicated six-bed pediatric inpatient cancer unit and a state-of-the-art newborn intensive care unit equipped to care for up to 66 infants. St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital is Idaho’s only children’s hospital and houses the state’s largest and most experienced Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
