Moneytree began a three-year commitment with the Alaska, Oregon and Washington State Area Conference (AOWSAC), National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in 2010. Funds are being used to support the NAACP’s financial literacy program.
Moneytree’s three-year commitment helps the organization provide financial literacy education and training materials to local branch Presidents to help them educate members of their communities.
Organization President Oscar Eason, Jr. commented, “It is a distinct pleasure having Moneytree sponsor the Financial Literacy Program and it is because of Moneytree that we are able to offer this most important training, not only to our NAACP membership, but to the entire community.”
