Community Financial Services Association of America (CFSA)

California Financial Service Providers Association (CFSP)
CFSP represents the California payday advance and check cashing industry. The organization was founded in 1950 as the California Check Cashers Association. The organization renamed itself in 1999 to represent the interests of companies that provide a variety of retail financial services. CFSP works with state legislators and local officials to promote regulations that protect the rights of consumers and businesses. The Association also educates its members on fair practices in conducting payday advance services.
